@LilybethS thanks for the update and congratulations on the full!
Yesterday I was about to nudge Lexie because my query was nearing 120 days. Except I clicked the wrong button and ended up sending her a half-written sentence and actually withdrawing my query by mistake. The shame! The annoyance! And no way to send another message once you withdraw.
Now I have to join the long line again.

5/4/25: Queried - Lightly Speculative Romcom 74K words.
8/22/25: Nudged at 110 days
8/26/25: Full Request - Asked that I send Query letter in email and the manuscript as an attachment.
If you have been "skipped", it is worth waiting.
She mentioned her "Consider for request" list is long and the queries pile up FAST.

7/20/25: Nudged at 6 week mark after hearing no response.
8/4/2025: She responded with:
Dear ___,
Thank you for checking in, and I deeply apologize for the long delay in getting back to you. Barring any unique circumstances, I request and read manuscripts in the order that the queries were received. That said, you are right in the middle of that queue to be requested. Again, I'm very sorry for the long turnaround, but I hope that this transparency will help make the waiting less difficult.
I'll be in touch soon!
Warmly,
Lexie Krauss
*Fingers crossed!*
