Joining JBroome on the surprise email train. Donovan's bio on the agency site says he ghosts if it's a pass, so I'd marked him as a pass after 12 weeks (I queried in October 2025). As of today I am officially a pass, but it was nice to hear it from the man himself.

I got a surprise email today from Donovan (250 days out from querying and after I had already CNR'ed) saying my query got buried under a very, very busy inbox and he just wanted to send a courtesy to let me know he did in fact get it. Still a rejection, but this is one of the nicest, personal replies so thank you to Donovan for letting me know gently.
