I queried in May, but noticed on the Data Explorer tool that Carter was beginning to respond to July queries. On July 10 I sent a little nudge, and Carter got back to me very quickly with a friendly, personal note. He said he wasn't to the May submissions yet and that he'd get to mine asap. He was encouraging and he seems like a great agent to work with. (Side note: the few responses from July were exceptions to his general answering).
