I appreciate the fast response time!

"Thank you so much for sending me the pages for [title]. While I read them carefully, I'm just not the right person for this project. I hope you do find that right person soon! "

Queried 03/30/26 3 hours later I had very and I do mean very brief rejection letter. She is specifically looking for disability representation and my main character has Addisons which according to Addison awareness websites and other medical websites it is considered a disability. Side note I did what she she asked for formatting as she's visually impaired and I explained I hope I did right as I'm also visually impaired so I'm not sure if she thought something of that. I honestly put what visual impairment I have. Also I never saw on the website saying a person couldn't resubmit to another agent if the first one declined so that may have been an issue as well. Either way after two rejections from this agency I won't be trying with them again in case it annoys them for future submissions for another book.

Ms. Dobson took the time to send a decision email to the author in a reasonabe time frame. This is a small but significant outward sign of a true professional.
