She must read out of order because my July query is unanswered but I see a lot of December rejections.
She posted on Threads today she is closing to queries on Sunday and she has responded to 92% of queries she's gotten the last five months. She is trying to get to 100% by the end of the year.

7/25 queried
11/10 sent f/u asking if I could send new pages as my updated manuscript is under consideration elsewhere and have not gotten a response.
pending response still as of 12/10

@ejwinter ... Sending you best wishes! It's not uncommon to get rejections AND requests in a matter of hours. The timing isn't a reflection of your writing. Some agents happen to work through their query box quickly, check not too long after the query, or intentionally check your genre first. I also used to feel disheartened by quick rejections until I realized they weren't the agent for my project and gave me the courtesy of letting me know without making me wait months (or being completely ghosted). Keep querying, and a manuscript request will come (my first arrived at my 110th query). Good luck!
