I just signed with Tali this week. Not sure how to update the status of the query, but I thought it was worth sharing in the comments. I submitted my adult graphic novel to her on 7/28 and got an e-mail about a phone call on 8/2.
UPADTE 8/29 - I just wanted to update to say thanks for everyone's kind words! I'm humbled by the warm and enthusiastic response I've gotten in response to this, and I just really hope I get to make my book :)
I also wanted to share that Tali said she's planning to sign 15 authors to start, each one for a different genre. She's also prioritizing authors who come from marginalized backgrounds. I had a really hard time understanding what agents are looking for in my own search, so I hope this little bit of extra info helps those who are querying right now.
