8 days after a full request, I received a personalized rejection that indicates she did not read much further than my samples. The three points of "feedback" were shallow, subjective, and impatient. I tried to employ a fairly strict "show, don't tell" strategy with this novel. Characters will not suddenly recap their backstory to those familiar with them in casual conversation. Reading most of the novel would have dismissed that complaint.
