I know there website says they're closed to queries, but then below that it says that as of March 2017 they're on the *hunt* for certain ms. Does this mean it's okay to query of your novel fits any of those descriptions?

EQ 3/7/17 (Diplomatic Immunity)--same day rejection (not right for her list.) Will try her with something new later this year.

Got a not-even-close-to-personalized form rejection, though it took 2 days and that makes me feel like I have a lot of staying power, at least compared to earlier comments. But then, it's just after Christmas. Anyway....

Thank you for your query.

If you are receiving this message, it means your story either wasn't a good fit for our agency, we already have something similar, or the hook isn't strong enough to stand out in an already crowded market.

Thank you for considering our agency.
Keep writing and query widely because the world would be a boring place without good books!

Rejected in about 10 minutes of sending my query letter.

The fastest rejection I've ever gotten. Not even 20 minutes.

I submitted a query for upmarket women's fiction, a genre posted on her "wish list," at approximately 9:30 pm last night.
I woke up early this morning to find a form rejection letter already in my email. Odd.

The website states they no longer send out rejections, so silence means no. Good to know!

Rejected in less than an hour, a personal best. While I'm not Ernest Hemingway (good luck with today's agents Ernie), I dare say the submission was barely glanced at before being 86'd. Submit at your own peril.

Yay same day request, she seemed really excited about the sample pages. Can't way to hear back.

Kristen, I'm curious. Do you think an agent will change her mind? If so, why? Unless you've substantially revised your manuscript/ and your query, I can assure you, an agent's mind won't change.
