I’m afraid it looks like Rupert Heath has died, according to the publishing company he set up.
"It is with great sadness we announce the passing of the founder of Dean Street Press, Rupert Heath. After a life filled with passion for literature, travel, art, music and love for his family, his big heart failed him."

t_amcdonald,
Yes, that's a mailbox full error. It's not a good sign that his inbox has been full for this long. I'll mark him closed for now.

t_amcdonald, does it list a specific reason? Often the problem is that their inbox is full.

Hi!
Can anyone tell me if they sent an American style query letter (with more of a book blurb than a synopsis) or a more formal British style letter to this agent? I think my MS might be more suited to a British agent but I'm never sure if I should be appraoching them differently.

Personalised rejection 06/02/2012:
'Thanks for this. I thought it was extremely well done. In the end I had to reluctantly conclude that we had our hands full with our current list of historical fiction authors, but I am sure other agents will be in a different position and I wish you the very best of luck elsewhere'
Nice feedback and prompt responses, a pleasure to deal with him.
