Query: 2/16/23
Full Request: 3/3/23
Submitted an updated manuscript 5/15/23
Submitted an updated manuscript 7/28/23
Selected for Books with Hooks (7/28/23) with a different manuscript: air date 8/10/23
Form Rejection 8/9/23

@lhv I am so impressed that you got a response when you inquired about your project. I've updated my manuscript with them twice, as 6 months is a long time and a lot changes in that time, but I have never received a confirmation that they have gotten those updated manuscripts. Since in previous posts here authors have notified of representation and not heard back I have a feeling that my second and third response are not being seen, which of course is understandable, but another reason why I think I prefer Query Manager and/or when the agent emails you directly with a full request. I am very nervous about the airing of books of hooks coming up, but have a feeling I will be getting a rejection shortly after.

Especially disappointed about this one. Almost four months waiting and not a personalized word. I doubt she even read it; the request and rejection both came from the assistant. Oh well.
