E queried her in May of 2011 about 9 months after meeting her at PNWA, where she requested my submission. She rejected within a week with helpful comments, and wrote back a second time after I thanked her.

Here's something I read on an Internet site:

"She requires the pages to be delivered in hard copy. Cherry Weiner has been agenting since 1977. She handles all genres of fiction and stays away from young adult, children’s and non-fiction."

I had a similar "strange" experience with Cherry Weiner. She insisted on speaking with me at a conference, so I practically had to move heaven and earth to get her on the panel of the IWWG Big Apple Conference that year (I was an active member then). She did show up, but later complained about the set up, the panel, the Manhattan location, the time of the conference, the number of writers who lined up to speak with her personally after the panel discussion, you name it.

We later chatted extensively by phone, at which time she actually spoke to me -- as if I were applying for a job with her, i.e., what she "expects" from her authors, etc., etc., and so forth.

Bottom line, given her "limited" amount of sales at the time to very small indy publishers at Publishers Marketplace, I found her not exactly to be a top shelf to-die-for agent in the first place, hence, just too weird overall to work with, and never bothered to submit my work to her at all.
