Very disappointing experience.
Queried (nonfiction) in 5/24. Proposal requested two months later and submitted the following day.
Reached out to inform that other agents have expressed interest and requested pages.
Rec'd a reply that my proposal had not yet been reviewed.
Reached out two weeks ago to inquire about timeline. No response.
Withdrew proposal this afternoon.
This agent/agency demonstrated no sense of interest beyond asking me for the proposal. We never spoke. They never sent any sort of update as to when they might get to it. They ghosted me.
