Please be aware:

My former agent worked at Fuse Literary. When she made the decision to leave agenting, she was told the agency would not orphan her clients, However, after she left Gordon and Laurie (the heads of the agency) informed us that the agency would not necessarily keep us on. We waited three weeks to hear back, with no communication about our work from the agency. Most of us were dropped with a copy-paste impersonal letter with no references. Contemporary Fantasy, 93k words

I've interacted with Connor periodically on Twitter for a few years, I've queried him on two other projects, and he gave me permission to query him with this manuscript. I think he'd be a great fit as an agent. Hope he finds the query/pages compelling!

Heh, well, that was fast at least! Not quite the right fit for him. Contemporary / Urban Fantasy's a tough genre right now and he doesn't think he has the vision to blow this one out. Oh well. Hopefully I can find an agent who thinks they can do something with it.
