Per her website update:
"I have read all query letters received before August 16, 2025. Requests for additional material were sent out for the projects I’d like to continue reading.
This information was last updated on August 16, 2025."
This was the first rejection to actually hurt. My book is exceptionally niche and Ms. Vicente miraculously had its EXACT themes listed on her MSWL and website as a high priority. Would've been nice to hear what missed the mark (or confirmation the email was received at all) so maybe I could improve it or shelve the project, instead of left wondering if there's a massive, obvious flaw I can't see. :/
