To whom it may concern or to those who may read it,
I received a form denial letter from this agency, to which I would normally appreciate and walk away. (I've had a few.) The difference here is that obviously they did not take the time to READ my submission. If they had; they would have known that sending a Veteran a rejection letter on Veterans Day might seem in bad form at best, or at worst ignorant. Today is Tuesday Nov.11 2025, I know that such a trivial thing may seem insignificant but to someone who has served our country, it actually matters. I don't expect special treatment, and any other day would have been acceptable, but not today. Had anyone actually taken the time, they would have thought about it. I really hope we all do better; the little things we do really matter to others.
