Note to self -- I did not query Mr Karpfinger but I did query Sam Chidley via email, Sam appears to be in the Karpfinger Agency but does NOT appear to be on Query Tracker so I'm marking Karpfinger as queried just to keep my query tally number accurate.

This agent asks for a hard copy with a pre-paid return address envelope so they can stuff it with a form letter saying they are too busy to read the submission. The experience wasn’t worth the postage.

We're sorry to resort to something so impersonal as this card, but unfortunately the volume of our submissions and inquiries has surpassed our ability to respond in a more personal manner. Although your project sounds interesting, we are taking on no new clients these days and must, therefore, regretfully decline the opportunity to read your work. Thanks you for contacting us and please allow us to wish you well in finding representation elsewhere."
