Full request: 10/01/2026 (I accidentally uploaded the wrong file at first but there was an option to upload another file with a note explaining the need to upload again. I just got out of surgery so hopefully it doesn't count against me 😭)
Rejection: 10/12/2026 A very long, very personalized rejection with actionable revision strategy. It’s clear he read the whole thing and he said he really really liked it, but it all felt too familiar. Although he did say the writing was great, as were the characterization and relationships. I just think he wanted something he didn’t have to work with to revise before submitting to editors. Closest I’ve been, but still no cigar.
