So, is this a non-exit clause (from the FAQs) or is that something else: "our interest in the work upon undertaking to represent it is irrevocable and non-terminable." Is this industry-standard?

These people present themselves as brittle and inscrutable and I have no idea what to approach them with -- so I just sent them my standard query + first chapter on adult fiction. I'll post back in with results or lack thereof.
