Judging by these comments, they don't sound like a very good agency.

Are they "a rejection from one is a rejection from all" agency? I was rejected by Nicole and it was all "we." Does that mean I shouldn't bother querying Frances Coady with the same project?

Thank you for your interest in working with the agents of Aragi Inc. We're very sorry to be sending this letter but on the basis of your query, we’re afraid we can’t consider your work. The high volume of submissions we receive forces us to be extremely selective, and we don't believe we'll be able to give your work the time and attention it deserves.

Same form rejection as below. If you have too many queries, why not just close queries for awhile?

Submitted 10/15
Rejected 10/16

They are fast, but the rejection letter contained the words "I can't:. I don't know about you, but I CAN, and I don't need an agent or an agency that CAN'T. I just see that as being an omen to the future.

I can't review your material
I can't be bothered to read the manuscript
I can't be bothered to edit
I can't be bothered to submit to publishers.....

These guys are off my list. I'm not doing business with someone who CAN'T.

Form rejection from someone else I assume in behalf of Frances.

FR: Jan 11th, 2017
Declined: Jan 12th, 2017: Didn't connect enough to characters to be the perfect fit. Probably a form. 100K literary.

I am still unsure if the manuscript should be included with the query. It would be unusual.

5/2/17 Received nice letter explaining that agent is swamped and cannot add to work load. Apologetic and wishing me luck.

I was also unsure (based on the website) whether I should attach the manuscript with the query, so in the query I wrote that I was unsure, and to be safe I did not attach (in case they automatically delete emails with attachments). Someone wrote back the next day and indicated that I should attach the manuscript.
