Kind rejection: Said my query letter was "clever". Passing due to scheduling reasons, but forwarding to her colleagues who might be interested. (Forwarding phrase seems like something that is routinely said. Not sure about the "clever" remark.)

Query response in <24 hours; indicated she was stepping aside due to scheduling reasons but complimented the writing and said she was forwarding to her colleagues in the hopes one was interested. So kind and gracious- anyone would be lucky to have her as their champion!
