He responded to my memoir query within an hour and ask to see a full ms. March 2016
By mid June, I had not heard anything from him. I sent an email simply to confirm that he had received my book.
He replied quickly that he had read it and then sent it to two other readers for their comments. I replied that I'd done some revision in the intervening 3 months. Did he want that version
Yes, he definitely did. I will send it in two more days after going over it again briefly.
I think something has happened to him. After 9 months of communication, he seems to have dropped off the planet. A recorded message answers his phone saying only, "leave a message." It's not like him to stop communicating.

Quick rejection 4 hours....why do I not believe that a human (agents, I am told are human) read, reviewed, and considered my query. Sent at 8:30 PM rejected at 1:15 AM

Hadn't heard from him in nine weeks. Contacted him to inform of offer of representation by another agent. He responded that he had sent me an e-mail to which I had never responded. Didn't say whether it was a rejection or not, but I have to assume it wasn't a rejection because he commented that I never replied.

I never got the e-mail, which is unfortunate, as he seems pretty good.

Called immediately after receiving my query. Seemed very knowledgeable about contracts law. Requested my full manuscript. That was approximately six weeks ago.
08/12/2008 12:00 PM
24 hour rejectio: Thanks for your query. Unfortunately, at this time, we are only reviewing selective non-fiction projects for representation. I wish you much success with your novel and thank you for considering LAR.
