Hi Chels03, Cathie posted this in Twitter:
I know some of you were waiting for me to open today, and I'm truly sorry. I really need to get through the submissions currently in my inbox before I should reopen, and I'm running behind by a couple or three weeks. I promise to open soon!
Hope this helps :)

Paranormal Rom-Com 75k
Queried: 10/13 following a conference pitch session. She encouraged me to submit a query.
Partial Request (first 5 chapters): 10/17
Partial Manuscript Rejected: 11/2
I'm not sure if everyone gets the same rejection letter or if she has a few different versions she sends out. Good luck everyone!
Rejection Letter with my info removed:
Hi [NAME],
Thanks so much for allowing me to read the first five chapters of [TITLE]. Unfortunately, this is a pass for me.
While your writing is engaging and there's nothing I can recommend for improvement, my current client list has expanded to a number that requires I be especially scrutinizing in what I take on. For that reason, I'm looking for manuscripts that take my breath away and give me an electric "zing" under my skin. And sadly, that's such a personal reaction that often has no real rhyme or reason beyond the chemistry I, as the reader, have with the characters and writing. It also means I'll unfortunately be passing on a lot of really wonderful projects I know will find success in better hands.
I'm sorry I don't have better news, but please understand this is a completely personal thing and says more about my tastes as a reader than of you and your writing or the story itself.
Thank you again for considering me, and I wish you the very best as you continue your querying process.
