I’d recommend avoiding agents who ghost requested material as she often does (if these comments are any indication). But I said to myself, what the heck, I’ll query her anyway. Result: CNR and waste of time.

Remember, the way they treat queriers is how they’ll treat *you* should your career or sales ever falter.

4/25/23: Email query (when Whitney was at Irene Goodman Literary)
6/2/23: Full request
6/28/23: Pass/sort of R&R, she gave some feedback and mentioned she'd be open to seeing a revised version of the manuscript

9/12/23: After revising based on Whitney's feedback and that of another agent, I requeried on QM, mentioning our previous correspondence about the manuscript
11/14/23: Followed up checking if she's still interested in the manuscript, and mentioning interest from Big 5 editors

No response yet, I hope she's still interested, but it doesn't seem like she's looked at any queries in a few months.

I only hesitate to CNR because I can see on the timeline she hasn't responded to really any since those submitted on 7/23 and prior.

She hasn't replied at all in almost 2 months. I wouldn't recommended querying her right now.
