I sent a query for a romantasy and got a rejection within 24 hours. Rejections are never fun, but I do appreciate that I didn't have to wait long for it.

Before contacting an agent, authors should verify and assess the agent's requirements and suitability by visiting the agent's website(s), and becoming familiar with ways to spot and avoid bad agents. A good place to start is Writers Beware, a watch group that helps inform and protect authors from shady practices.
I also have a romantic fantasy and am sitting at 12 days. I am nervous though because although her wishlist says this genre, if you look at the manuscripts she is requesting, they are not this genre. Seems inconsistent, but maybe she is saving them to sort through and then will request some (hopefully!).
