Thank you for sharing your work with us and for your patience as Johanna reviewed it.

At this time, we will not be requesting more. Given the high volume of submissions, Johanna can only take on projects that are a perfect fit for her list. We believe you merit an agent who connects with your work wholeheartedly and can be the advocate you deserve, so we will be stepping aside.

Please don't be discouraged though, as this is a highly subjective industry, which simply means another agent may feel differently.

Thank you again for your thinking of Writers House, for your patience, and for considering Johanna for this work.

Wishing you all the best,
Victoria on behalf of Johanna V. Castillo

Queried her on January 3
Nudged with an offer of rep on January 16
Didn't hear anything so I marked her as CNR on Feb. 1
Received a partial request on Feb. 14 from her assistant

Agent says they never received the nudge. So, remember to give that extra follow-up, folks! You never know when something falls through the cracks.
