7/13/22: submitted a full directly to Patience Bloom at her request - contemporary romance 61k
9/16/22: polite rejection as the heat in the book doesn't fit the current lines

2/21/21: Submitted to Special Edition
11/15/21: Withdrawn after an extensive revision and no response on two follow-up notes (one at 6 months and another at 8 months)
Note: FB group states Special Edition has a very long wait. I believe I read someone was at the 18mo mark, but I can't find that comment anymore so don't quote me.

6/22: Received a pitch contest like from an Editor and submitted the full that same day. (Note: they only asked for the first 3 chapters, I think? But since I had the full ready they told me to submit it all.)
8/11: R&R offer with copious notes. I'm not sure if an R&R is standard for this publisher, but between the notes and telling me they would "really love to look at it again" I am hopeful! Now implementing the notes are another thing... it will be tough but I really appreciate the feedback as well as the super fast response!

Thanks @tialsb! It was about 60 days. For reference, the first book I queried to them in 2019 was 12 weeks to a rejection. But I do think it varies depending on how many subs they have. Good luck!

Congrats, @rhmae_me! How long did it take from submission to offer? I'm trying to get a handle on what the time frame is.
