Always verify publisher's information before sending your query. Verify the publisher's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the publisher is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for publisher information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the publisher's website.

Leave comments about your experiences with this publisher, or read what other authors have to say.

My partially was upgraded into a full this morning. This evening, Erica emailed me back saying she enjoyed the book but would need the POVs pared down to consider it for publication. Not sure if I'll do the R&R...I think I'll try another couple of publishers first.
