Obviously scammy. All listed prices are ebook prices. And they offer no services. There's no reason to include this middleman.

They don't take GLBT (the letters they state) - this is a non-starter for me even if a manuscript doesn't have an explicitly LGBTQ+ character.

Very unprofessional staff! They terminated my contract for 2 bad Amazon reviews and the fact that they disagreed with legitimate changes I did not want altered on my manuscript. They also never pay you royalties. If you sign up with them they will rip you off!!!! Beware!

@CathieArms Sorry for the late response on your question! (This is JackieCrocus, I changed my name) After contracting my manuscript to be published, they eventually sent me a termination letter saying that my book would take too long to do anything with... It took me a little over a year to recover from that blow, and eventually got my book published by America Star books (which probably wasn't an upgrade, but hey it's published). Their communication is next to nil. The lady who contracted my book in the first place was very nice, but when she handed me over to the YA editor, that's when it all went down hill. But that's been a couple of years. Don't know if that helped, but my advice: Avoid a sinking ship. Unless they have radical changes, maybe they'd be worth considering, but I check their website periodically and I'm actually glad they terminated me.

Does anyone have any current information on this publisher? I entered a #PitMad tweet and they favorited. I can't find anything NEW about them, really. JackieCrocus - how did your book deal turn out? Are you happy with them? Anyone?

Never liked the feel of the communication. Even less support than a small pub. Bad vibes. Dropped them.

huh. After five months of waiting and doing all that they wanted me to do. Trying my hardest for them. They sent me a termination.
Nice.

Their CEO has cancer and has not been heard from and the Children's publisher is moving across country. My second picture book by them should be out April 18 as a formal release date.. I submitted a third picture book to them almost two months ago but have not heard back about this one. Am worried. I seem to remember hearing before two months about my second submission which is coming out April 18, EDMUND PICKLE CHIN, a RESCUE DONKEY STORY,

Any one else worried?
