For others information, I addressed mine to a particular editor that I thought would be the best fit.

I too would like to know if people are addressing to a particular editor as their website says to familiarize themselves with the editorial staff but then doesn't give additional guidance on if that is just to ensure that they are looking for that type of book or if it's to submit to that particular editor.

I addressed mine to Dear Faith a couple months ago. Other than the automatic acknowledgement, I've never heard back though.

Just curious if others are addressing a specific editor when sending the query or if it’s just a dear editors type of situation?
