I just got approval to get a link, but the message said it would arrive sometime in the next three business days, which is past the submission window. Fingers crossed, I guess!

Update: I got my link this morning (05/16/2024). I’m going to skim my manuscript one last time before submitting.

Update #2: Submitted my 111k adult romantasy (Own Voices faerie tale retelling) during the Berkley open submission period.

Update #3: Form rejection 07/18/2024

@m669326 At the current response rate, it'll take Berkley two years to get through these queries. I'm hoping things will pick up after the summer since they presumably had far fewer submissions this round compared to the last OSP, but we could be in it for the long-haul.

I'm personally still querying and trying to get my work out there. Berkley didn't demand an exclusive submission.

Thank you, KeraShade.
I'm quite interested in when it would make sense to give up on the long odds possibility with Berkley. I have a low-end publisher who are interested, but I don't want to commit to a contract while there's a better option pending.
Keep the updates coming!
