This is literally the sweetest rejection I've ever received.
Dear _____, thank you for your query and your patience. I love the premise of this story, but I feel so out of touch with the YA market currently that I just don't think I'm the best fit for this project. If you ever write something in this space for an adult audience, I would LOVE to read it!

Queried over 60 days ago and rejected today. Not understanding their reasoning here for the rejection but it’s cool that it wasn’t me? Shrugs.
