I would run far away and over majestic hills from this publisher. First on the query form they are already asking for audiobook rights and if you want your manuscript turned into an audiobook. Second they have a 70k limit for manuscripts. I got an auto rejection due to my page length which is appropriate for urban fantasy 80k -90k
Novel start at 60k but whatever. Third I got bad vibes from the rejection since I told them on the form that I want to keep my audiobooks rights and will be open to discuss at a later time. I am willing to sit down with their editor but I can’t see how I can produce a product that is good less than 70k for urban fantasy.
The too long didn’t read: be wary of this publisher I’m thinking this is a vanity press not a true indie or hybrid publisher
