Full request 02/27/2017

(07/04/2017) Still waiting almost five months later. Emailed Ms Hawk three months after full request and she responded three weeks later:

"Apologies for the wait -- I'm working my way through a queue and will be in touch as soon as I can be. Many thanks for your patience!"

Form rejection: "Thank you so much for sharing your book with me, I truly appreciate your interest. I've had a chance to review and consider your work and can see how much you've invested in this. Unfortunately, I don't think I'm the right agent for this particular project, so I must pass. But I send this with gratitude and all good wishes for the future."

Thanks for your help, Rimna51. I resent this morning, and still no confirmation. I'll just have to assume she didn't get it :-(

Update: I posted the question in her blog comments. She didn't answer there, but sent a form rejection shortly after. :-( In hindsight, I wonder if the link to my website in my email signature might have been getting them sent to her spam.

mgmystery - this was in the confirmation email. It sounds like she's pretty forgiving so I would resend it - she'll just delete the first one.

Please take a minute now to be sure that you’ve included the correct information in your query:
•Querying a picture book text: please paste the complete text within the body of your email.

•Querying picture book illustrations: please include a link to your online portfolio and/or to your downloadable dummy.

•Querying a novel or longer length work: please paste the first twenty pages within the body of your email.

If your original query is missing this information, don’t worry. Just re-send with correct information and I’ll delete the first query. I don’t consider queries that don’t include pages or art, and will not reply to these.
