Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

@scarlettgirl: good luck with all your projects! I hope that you soon find the perfect agent. Let us know what Susan says to your latest status update. A sense of humour is a vital part of a writer's equipment, to be sure!

Sent a status update recently on a manuscript Susan's had for over a year. I've written this one off but thought I'd just check in to get the 'haven't had a chance to look at it yet'. lol. My sense of humor's been important to me with this agent's timeline. On the plus side I've already written another book and started on a second and have moved on from this interminable waiting. My advice to any of you waiting this long, get busy writing something else and you'll feel much, much better in the end. Good luck to all. :)

spinderella: did you receive a response to your nudge? Fingers crossed...

eltsmith: Some agents request mss but don't seem to read them unless the author nudges them with an offer of rep. With several people on these pages waiting many months for responses to fulls, I'm starting to wonder if that's what's happening here. But like you, I'm hoping all the 'waiters' will have something to delight in soon. :)
