This agency takes way too long to respond to queries. If this were a real major, top-notch, mainstream-level agency I could understand, but far as I can tell, they're an indie agency, so I'm not sure what their excuse is to take half a year or more just to give a "yes" or "no." Yeah, we get it, agents are busy, but 6 months to a year or longer for a response is just ridiculous for an indie agency.

Thank you for your query but I'm going to pass on it at this time. While the premise is interesting, I didn’t connect with the work as I’d hoped.
Thank you for considering me for your work and I wish you great success with this project and your writing career.

Warm regards,
Saritza Hernandez, Sr. Literary Agent

She explained that the story didn't keep her attention after a few pages. Very polite email.
FYI: The website says she's closed to queries as of 9/1 to catch up on them.

Said she felt too emotionally detached from the MC to continue with her journey. However, she also wrote "I’m sorry it did not work for me but I do look forward to seeing this on the shelf and hope you’ll let me know where I can pick it up soon as it is published." Kindest rejection I've ever received.

Queried - 3/18 through #PitMad
Full Request - 6/29, I've received offers for this project, but none of the agents have been a good fit for me.
Sending here shortly...fingers crossed for Saritza. I think she'd be a great agent to work with.
