He is unsure whether he wants 2 chapters or 30-40 pages - all the while having everything 1.15 spacing. I would hesitate on querying him due to these confusing guidelines. In my experience, when something like this that should be rather simple is contradictory and confusing, the entity should be avoided entirely. I'm not saying he's a bad person or anything like that - I am just really put off by the lack of clarity and all the other required documents he wants.

His QueryManager form indicates he would like the first 30-40 pages of a manuscript attached, but the sample upload field says to attach the first two chapters of the manuscript.
Until someone else hears otherwise, I'm going to assume it's OK if the 30-40 pages includes more than the first two chapters of a story.
