I think they just want a query letter. No synopsis or sample pages. They typically respond very (very!) fast to queries and either pass or request sample pages. Sending just the query did work out for me. Their bio on their agency website sort of says this at the bottom. Although, I can see where there could be some uncertainty. Good luck!

I can't find anywhere online whether and how many sample pages to include for this agent. Has anyone seen this? Had success with an approach?

Within minutes of querying him, he responded suggesting a colleague, but she had already passed on my query only an hour before! I emailed her again, telling her that Uwe suggested her, so although I think she will stick with her rejection, I literally have nothing to lose by trying again!
