@SoYoureALiar The rule of thumb for queries is usually to only apply to one agent at an agency at a time, otherwise your work tends to look like spam. I'd say that your only options are to be patient for the first agent to catch up to your submission (if you know for sure that she's running late) or withdraw your query. If the first agent has a clause that no response means no, and you aren't sure if she's behind, then you would probably be safe to CNR the first query and apply with Mr. Ellor.

Question -- I submitted to an agent at JD Lit a while ago, and it appears this agent is super behind on reading queries and I have no idea when (or even if) she will get to mine. I'd really like to submit to Mr. Ellor, but I don't want to withdraw from that first agent. I can't find anywhere on JD's site if simultaneous submissions are allowed. Advice?
