Always verify agent's information before sending your query. Verify the agent's query preferences, contact information, genres of interest, and if the agent is still open to queries.

Although QueryTracker tries to stay current, it is not always easy. Never trust any single source for agent information (and yes, this includes QueryTracker).

Review the user comments for more information, and always follow exactly what it says on the agent's website.

And NEVER give money to an "agent".

Leave comments about your experiences with this literary agent, or read what other authors have to say.

*Hugs* Aidan. Sorry to hear that. :( Maybe Marlene only researches authors if she's considering representation? Either way, that's a bummer.

Marlene received my full, as requested, on 4/21. I received my email rejection late last night, 7/1.
It is obvious that she didn't take the time to read my bio graph, or to google me, or to check out my social media presence on twitter because she addressed me as a man. Yes, I do have a masculine name, but it doesn't take much digging to see that I am a woman.
At least take the time to read the author bio before making such an egregious mistake. The agents certainly expect that of us.
I feel better. Good luck everyone.

**Update: Got my r today. Best of luck to everyone else still waiting!**

So I decided to nudge on Monday. It's been about three months and I was worried she never received it--that I was waiting in vain. I've seriously checked the email address five times to make sure there wasn't a missed letter or something. It was correct. I wonder if she just reads out of order? Anyone out there still waiting who submitted a full before April 1st? I'm over thinking this...
