I was not a referral client although I did have a developmental edit with a different editor. I'll see what happens!
After several meetings with Lissa, I have been offered representation on 22 January 2026. I was not a referral client but Lissa explained she generally vets clients she wants to work with through her team as she can ensure the manuscripts are ready and not written by AI, etc. I'm excited to work with her. She's direct and open about the process. She's more marketing focussed and making sure you earn out your advance, get good sales record, etc.
