The good news is - my nudge worked! She responded the next day and said that she's still considering my ms and has just been busy.
The not-so-good news is that my nudge prompted her to pick up ms a few days later and she decided to pass due solely to personal reasons. (Parts of my story triggered personal trauma.)
So the moral of the story is - go ahead and send those nudges. At the very least you may get closure.

@KarolRuthSilverstein...if you are on your computer, on the right under 'Active Project' you should see 'View on QueryManager' click that. Scroll, then about halfway down (where it says activity) there is a send button. It give you three options, choose 'other'
Good luck :)
Good luck :)

Response requesting full ms, 12/5/25.
Sent full w/synopsis, 12/9/24 (was out of town).
Update 3/8/26 - frustrating that there doesn't seem to be a way to send a nudge or to ask if my project is still being considered. (This is after a full ms was requested.) Any suggestions?
3/9/26 - nudge sent after getting advice from this community - thanks!
3/11/26 - passed due to story triggering personal trauma.
Very kind rejection:
Email from the agent who I nudged this weekend. Totally understandable, but I’m still pretty bummed. Very nice of her to write such a personal rejection.
Hi Karol,
I had some time to dip into FREYJA (the impact of a nudge at the right time!) and am very appreciative to have gotten to read as far as I did. The voice of this project is so delightful and I think the concept is so much fun. Unfortunately, some of the plot elements do cross over into trigger territory for me, which I didn't realize until I opened the synopsis today.
Long story short, my cat had a near-death experience last year that I continue to face trauma from. I did peek ahead to see what happens to Freyja (and what happens at her vet visit), and it was sadly just too tough for me to read. Were I to represent this project, I would need to read the material several times over the course of any developmental or line edits prior to submission, and I know I would not be able to do that, for the sake of my own mental health.
I will be passing on this project as I feel like the injury Freyja gets is integral to the way her journey wraps up (at least, what I gathered from the synopsis), and I don't have ideas for changes. I really want you to know that this pass has nothing to do with your quality of writing, as what I had read up until this point was fantastic.
I really feel as though this project's advocate is coming very soon.
