Anyone nudge this agent after 3 months of query submission? Looks like almost every other query on the list around me has a response. Fingers crossed that I'm in a maybe pile.

Man, I'm not gonna lie, this one cut deep. I was on the line for 107 days, so I knew from her threads post that I was in the coveted 'maybe' pile. Waking up to a rejection broke my heart.

That said, she gave me some very personalized feedback which lets me know she most definitely took the time to thoroughly read my pages. She mentioned several story-specific details, which I truly appreciate. That red, frownie face may be the first one to make me cry for a bit.

Pass due to not being confident in placement of contemporary romance in current market.

Very kind! She even reached out in April to let me know she was still considering :) I respect this agent a ton and even if we weren’t a great match for this novel I’m excited to query her with another project in the future!

She seems like the kind of agent anyone would be so lucky to work with!

Thanks for the opportunity !
