Rejection on full was confusingly vague. Said she loved the pacing and tension and stakes, then said the past timeline (it's a dual timeline story) "truly didn't resonate with me" and wouldn't work with the current marketplace.
Unfortunately it's given me no direction to any revisions I could make. I don't know if it's the character(s), the plot points in the timeline, the tone, the dialogue, all of it? Is it simply not for sure? As Brene Brown says, clear is kind. Otherwise a simple, "not for me" would be less confusing. Or even crickets.
